Human connection - it is everything.
At Uniity we provide fun opportunities for people to meet, and to form meaningful connections.
Over the years we have met so many amazing people, from different backgrounds and life experiences. We welcome everyone to our activities like an old friend. We believe our differences are our strengths and what makes us unique and inherently “us”.

We find human behaviour fascinating - every person is an authentic expression of self. As we move through life we all have differing needs and wants from friends, Uniity is providing the catalyst to develop life enriching friendships.

Everyone has a story. Telling people’s unique stories is powerful. It provides familiarity for others, it can allow for people to see themselves in others. Stories have the power to create empathy, change and to move people and inspire in new ways.

Because we all have a story, we just need someone to share it with.
Welcome to our Uniity community; untold stories, from their heart to yours.

Steph
"Sometimes when you put yourself out there, the universe rewards you"

When Steph looks at all the micro moments of her life, she can really see how creative practices have helped her heal, over-come challenges and grounded her to a practice that brings her immense joy in life.

How did a journey of self-discovery and following her intuition led Steph to a tiny island off Tahiti where she pushed herself out of her comfort zone and met the love of her life.

Rajesh & Sunita
"It feels good to come to a new country and meet new people, we have made some great friends"

People gravitate to Uniity for many reasons. We often welcome people to our activities that have moved to Adelaide from another country or state, and are looking to make new meaningful connections. People just like Sunita and Raj.

“We were very much drawn to Uniity and the welcoming atmosphere, of our first activity Cook & Talk,” said Sunita.

We have created a new life in Adelaide, spending time with our family, meeting new friends, and part-taking in fun Uniity activities.

Joanna
"Striving for shared human experience is what binds us"

Joanna is passionate about the intersect between culture and connection.

"I really believe life is all about connecting to others, doesn’t matter who they are or where they are from, everyone has a story.

This striving for shared human experience is what binds us."

Conor
Conor says finding Uniity was “serendipity in action”.

“I have always been a people person, I find people so very interesting. I get so much out of helping people. By listening, just being there to listen, you can pick up on people’s energy.
Just being there is very powerful.”

Conor has so much depth to him, he has set up multiple businesses all over the world. From working as a house painter and decorator, to travelling the Atlantic on a fishing trawler, and working on building sites in the countryside of Holland. He once opened a deli in Melbourne that morphed into a cool bistro.
From owning pubs in tiny towns in Germany to hosting big events under the stars in the Barossa for his catering company, you can see Conor has lived a full life.

As he believes, “that a life half lived is a life not lived.”

Kip
Kip is one of those people, that you feel immediately at ease with. She has a strong sense of social justice with a keen passion in climate change and the environment.
She is also a talented ukulele player.

“We are all so unique and the good thing about Uniity is there is no judgement, everyone is accepted for who they are, and everyone has something to offer.”

Nola
Nola is a force of nature! Smashing ageist stereotypes by jumping out of a plane for her 70th birthday. To raising five children on the land, to being a very good cook, and she always seems to have the right advice at the right time, on just about any topic! Nola is always sharing her knowledge.

Nola has overcome some immense challenges in her life, maybe she would describe it as the “school of hard knocks”. One thing for sure is her resilience and strength are to be admired.
She gets on with life with a fierce determination, calm disposition, caring nature and a wicked sense of humour.

Annie
“When I was younger I felt like it was me against the world, this is how I felt in so many different situations. But now I feel I have a place in the world and I can be my authentic self”.

Annie is a creative at heart.
When Annie was a young adult, she was introduced to a craft studio/cafe, that was owned by a friend of her mothers. That connection exposed her to a wide range of craft people’s materials and creative expression. She enjoyed the atmosphere and the lifestyle of crafts people, living close to nature. This creative life seemed like an interesting path for her.
Annie is really big on filling your own cup and self care and having a balanced life. As well as her creative practices, she plays the ukulele, likes walking, gardening and connecting with people.
